Castle Rock
Where nutrient-rich currents collide, delivering dramatic morning encounters with sharks, rays, and pelagic species on Day 2.

Quick Answer: Our 7-day Komodo expedition is the most complete itinerary we run—pristine southern reefs, a Wae Rebo cultural excursion, and dive sites unavailable on shorter trips. It combines luxury accommodation, expert guiding, and optional advanced diving instruction. Price starts from USD 5,300 per night.
Seven days and six nights aboard our premium Phinisi cover the full spectrum of Komodo’s ecosystem, plus a guided cultural extension to Wae Rebo, a traditional mountain village where local heritage remains vividly alive.
The extra length unlocks what shorter trips can’t: exclusive southern Komodo sites, repeat dives at prime locations for real pattern recognition, and dedicated days for optional rescue, Nitrox, technical, or photography training with PADI Master Instructors.
This is the itinerary for travelers who want the complete Komodo story—diving, wildlife, and culture—told without rushing.

We handle every transfer so you arrive at the vessel refreshed. The afternoon brings orientation, safety briefings, and a welcome dinner as we sail out of the harbor toward the first night’s anchorage.
Three dives in one day: Castle Rock’s pelagic-rich currents in the morning, Batu Bolong’s towering pinnacle after lunch, then a rare night dive at Manta Point revealing the reef after dark.
Morning drift dives along Gili Lawa Darat’s vertical walls give way to gentler afternoon reef exploration at Gili Lawa Laut — Komodo’s full diving range in a single day.
Two full days in the remote south, unavailable on shorter packages, including Taka Makassar’s deep coral walls. Diving is scheduled around conditions, with optional deep-diving, technical, or photography instruction for advanced divers.
After a morning dive, we sail toward Flores for a guided visit to Wae Rebo’s cone-shaped houses — sharing tea with Manggarai villagers before a captain’s dinner celebrating the week.
One last morning dive at a favorite site, then late-morning departure back to Labuan Bajo for farewells, disembarkation, and onward transfers.

Serious diving enthusiasts and certification-holders who want repeat dives at prime sites, not single visits. Conservation-minded travelers drawn to our onboard briefings on reef health and sustainable diving. Couples marking a major milestone, with deluxe suites for privacy and group meals for shared celebration.
Once-in-a-lifetime adventurers who’d rather book one comprehensive expedition than several short trips, and extended-leave travelers with the time to explore Komodo unhurried, cultural extension included.
Minimum Open Water certification with at least 30 logged dives — Advanced Open Water is recommended for the northern zone’s stronger sites. Guides tailor each day across mixed experience levels, from gentle mornings to challenging afternoon and night dives.
The village sits at 1,500 meters, reached by a one-hour moderate uphill hike. Guests with knee, hip, or cardiovascular limitations should flag this in advance — alternative experiences can be arranged.
July–August is peak season, with the most reliable weather and guaranteed departures — book 6-8 weeks ahead. May–June and September–November offer smaller groups with equally good conditions; quieter months bring softer pricing but fewer sailings, so book 4-6 weeks out.
Typically 12–15 dives across the week, usually 2-3 per day. Nothing is mandatory — some guests add night or early dives, others prefer a lighter, more relaxed pace.
Every meal is prepared fresh onboard, blending Indonesian specialties with international dishes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy needs are accommodated with advance notice; soft drinks, tea, and coffee are included throughout the day.
Strongly recommended — ideally diving-specific cover through DAN, since standard travel policies often exclude dive-related incidents. Budget roughly $150–400 depending on coverage and age.
Cancellations made at any time before departure forfeit 100% of the total payment, which is non-refundable—though you may nominate a replacement diver to take your place. In force majeure cases (severe weather, government regulations, and other uncontrollable events), the trip may be changed or canceled without a refund.
The 3-day trip is a fast introduction to Komodo’s major sites; the 5-day adds southern access and deeper repetition. The 7-day version adds the full ecosystem, exclusive southern sites, the Wae Rebo extension, and optional advanced training. See our liveaboard comparison page for the full breakdown.
