Komodo Liveaboard 3 Days 2 Nights — The Essential Explorer

Quick Answer: Our 3 Days 2 Nights liveaboard is the fastest way to cover Komodo’s headline sites — Padar Island, Komodo, Pink Beach, and Manta Point — aboard a premium vessel, with five to seven dives included. Price starts from USD 5,300 per night.

Komodo’s Highlights, Compressed Into One Weekend

Two nights aboard a premium phinisi cover the same bucket-list stops as our longer trips — just on a tighter schedule, and with all proficiency levels welcome.

From the moment you step aboard one of our premium fleet, expect five to seven dives or snorkels, every meal, and full crew support from check-in to disembarkation.

It runs on the same crew expertise and attention to detail as our longer liveaboard trips — ideal for travelers who want Komodo’s best without a long vacation.

Your 3-Day Komodo Itinerary

  1. Day 1

Departure & First Taste of Komodo

Check in at the embarkation point, settle into your cabin, and meet your crew during the welcome briefing and safety orientation.

Your first dive or snorkel follows that afternoon, before we sail toward Padar Island for dinner on deck as the sun sets.

  2. Day 2

Komodo & Pink Beach, Back to Back

Morning dives at Komodo Island reveal dramatic reef topography and marine life from nudibranchs to manta rays — the island above the waterline is also home to the Komodo dragon.

The afternoon moves to Pink Beach for snorkeling over shallow reefs, with optional advanced-diving instruction offered in the evening for those building their certifications.

  3. Day 3

    Manta Point Magic & Return

Your final morning is reserved for Manta Point, Komodo’s most reliable site for manta encounters, dived early for the calmest water and best visibility.

After the last dive, we sail back to the embarkation point for a smooth disembarkation, with time to trade contacts and photos with fellow travelers.

Destinations You’ll Visit

Padar Island

Komodo’s most photographed island rises dramatically from turquoise water, with striking multi-colored beaches and dive sites nearby that reveal the region’s underwater geology. Uninhabited and pristine.

Komodo

The archipelago’s namesake island pairs nutrient-rich currents with reef sharks and schooling trevally, while onshore the legendary Komodo dragons still roam the volcanic hills.

Pink Beach

Red coral fragments mixed into white sand give Pink Beach its signature color. Shallow, calm water makes it just as rewarding for snorkelers as for certified divers.

Manta Point

Converging currents turn this site into a magnet for manta rays with wingspans exceeding fifteen feet. Morning dives here offer the best visibility and the highest odds of an encounter.
