Komodo Liveaboard 5 Days 4 Nights — The Deep Explorer

Quick Answer: Our 5 Days 4 Nights liveaboard is our most complete Komodo expedition—exclusive southern-region access, 11–13 dives, and full archipelago coverage. Built for experienced divers who want depth, not just a checklist of sites. Price starts from USD 5,300 per night.

Five Days, Full Immersion

This 5-day liveaboard trip reaches remote southern Komodo waters that shorter trips simply can't cover.

The extra days let the trip breathe—real rhythm instead of a rushed itinerary, with time to build genuine friendships with crew and fellow divers.

It's built for experienced divers, conservation-minded travelers, and anyone who values depth of encounter over ticking off sites.

Your 5-Day Komodo Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Gateway and Acclimatization

Arrive, settle into your cabin, and join a full safety and vessel orientation for the days ahead.

An easy afternoon check-out dive eases you in, followed by sunset and your first dinner aboard with fellow guests.

  2. Day 2

    Northern Regions and Classic Destinations

Dive Padar Island's dramatic reefs in the morning, then explore Komodo's classic underwater topography in the afternoon with our dive team.

An optional evening talk connects Komodo's volcanic origins to the marine life you've just encountered.

  3. Day 3

    Central Regions and Manta Encounters

A morning dive at Manta Point is timed with the currents that reliably draw manta rays in to feed.

An afternoon dive at a second central site is followed by optional evening coaching in photography, fish ID, or buoyancy.

  4. Day 4

    Southern Komodo and Farewell Dinner

Morning and afternoon dives explore remote southern Komodo—reached only on longer trips—with dramatic walls and marine life undisturbed by regular tourism.

Your last dive of the trip often revisits a favorite earlier site with fresh eyes, closing with a celebratory farewell dinner aboard.

  5. Day 5

    Departure

After a final breakfast, the crew manages a smooth disembarkation and onward transport. Most guests leave with a far deeper feel for Komodo's ecosystems than a short trip allows.

Destinations You'll Visit

Padar Island

Dramatic volcanic peaks and three-toned beaches frame your Day 2 morning dive—one of Komodo's most photographed panoramas.

Komodo Island

Home to the world-famous dragons and legendary underwater topography, explored on Day 2's afternoon dive.

Manta Point

Strong currents draw graceful manta rays in to feed, making Day 3's morning dive here a career-highlight encounter for many divers.
