Komodo Island Liveaboard is a specialist liveaboard cruise operator based in Labuan Bajo, running guided diving and leisure voyages across Komodo National Park since 2015. We are not a single-boat brand. We are the operator that curates the entire Komodo fleet — from intimate wooden phinisi to premium steel-hull dive yachts — and matches each traveller to the right vessel, route, and season.
Who We Are
Founded in 2015 and operating under the Komodo Luxury group of Labuan Bajo travel companies, Komodo Island Liveaboard has arranged more than a decade of liveaboard departures for divers, families, and photographers exploring Komodo, Rinca, Padar, and the outer reefs of the Flores Sea. Where most websites represent one boat and one owner, we work across the water — a fleet-agnostic operator with direct relationships with dozens of vetted vessels, licensed cruise directors, and PADI/SSI dive guides working the park every week.
That independence is the point. When you ask us about Manta Point, Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, or Crystal Rock, we answer as people who dive those sites year-round — not as a sales page for a single hull. We advise on which liveaboard actually fits your budget, group size, dive certification, and travel dates, then we handle the booking, the permits, and the on-water logistics end to end.

- Fleet-agnostic selection. We compare and book across the full spectrum of Komodo liveaboards — 2-day/1-night quick escapes to 4-day and 6-day expedition itineraries — so you get the right boat instead of the only boat someone is trying to sell.
- Diving, tailored. Guided dives at Manta Point, Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Shotgun (The Cauldron), Tatawa Besar, and Siaba — matched to your certification level, with Nitrox and private-guide options.
- Leisure, not just diving. Komodo dragon trekking on Rinca and Komodo Island, the Padar Island sunrise viewpoint, Pink Beach snorkelling, Kalong Island flying-fox sunsets, and Taka Makassar sandbars — for non-divers and mixed groups.
