Quick Answer: Lasha is a 52.5-metre VVIP phinisi built from ulin and teak, carrying up to 26 guests in 10 air-conditioned en-suite cabins across four decks. Private charters from Labuan Bajo start at USD 10,800 per night, with a shared jacuzzi sun deck, indoor dining and bar lounge, and a dedicated dive deck.

About Lasha Phinisi Cruise

Lasha is a traditional Buginese phinisi built from select ulin and teak wood, stretching 52.5 metres across four well-appointed decks with a 10.3-metre beam. At 466 gross tons and powered by a 750HP Weichai X6170, she is built for serious cruising rather than short hops — the kind of hull that holds its line across the open crossings between north and south Komodo.

She sleeps up to 26 guests in 10 private en-suite cabins, from Deluxe twins with porthole views up to Master Suites with a private balcony and jacuzzi. That scale makes her one of the few vessels in the Komodo liveaboard fleet that can take a large family group, a company retreat, or two or three travelling families without splitting anyone across boats.

Lasha sails out of Labuan Bajo on private charters and share-cabin open trips, and also runs Raja Ampat seasons outside the Komodo calendar.

Four Decks, End to End

Lasha separates her decks by purpose — diving down low, dining and lounging in the middle, sun and jacuzzi up top — so a large group never has to share one space all day.

Lasha Phinisi Cruise top-deck sun deck with teak loungers and a shared jacuzzi

Sun Deck & Shared Jacuzzi

The top deck opens to teak sun loungers and a shared jacuzzi with lounge seating around it — the natural place to end a day of trekking and diving as the light drops over the islands.

Indoor Dining & Bar Lounge

The upper deck carries an air-conditioned indoor dining area and a bar lounge with panoramic windows, seating the full 26 guests in one sitting rather than in shifts.

Living Room & Indoor Lounge

A separate air-conditioned living room gives the group somewhere to sit out a midday squall or a long crossing without giving up the dining table.

Aft-deck chill-out lounge on Lasha Phinisi Cruise with sofas and an outdoor dining table

Aft Deck & Dive Deck

A shaded aft lounge sits directly above a dedicated dive deck on the main level, so tanks, rinse tanks and kit-up space stay out of the way of everyone who is not diving.

Who Lasha Suits

At 26 guests across 10 cabins, Lasha sits in a bracket most of the Komodo fleet cannot reach. Boutique phinisi cap out around 12–16 guests, which forces a large group onto two hulls with two schedules; Lasha keeps everyone on one boat, one itinerary, one dinner table.

That makes her the practical answer for multi-generational family charters, company retreats, wedding parties, and dive clubs travelling together — particularly where the group splits between divers and non-divers, since the dive deck and the sun deck are on different levels.

If your group is smaller than 14, the private charter rate still applies as a flat vessel price, so a smaller party gets the whole boat at the same nightly cost. Compare it against the wider luxury tier before you decide.

Sample itinerary

Lasha 4D3N Private Komodo Charter

  1. 01

Day 1 — Kelor Island, Manjarite & Kalong Island

Board at Labuan Bajo and sail to Kelor for the hilltop climb, snorkel the reef at Manjarite, then anchor off Kalong Island to watch the flying-fox colony lift off the mangroves at dusk.

  2. 02

Day 2 — Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar & Manta Point

The full day: sunrise on Padar for the three-bay panorama, a swim at Pink Beach, a ranger-guided dragon trek on Komodo Island, the sandbar at Taka Makassar, then diving or snorkelling with reef mantas at Manta Point.

  3. 03

Day 3 — Siaba Island & Sebayur Island

A slower day on the turtle grounds at Siaba and the house reef at Sebayur — the two sites that reliably deliver for snorkellers and newer divers alike.

  4. 04

Day 4 — Rangko Cave, Seraya & Sabolo / Bidadari

Swim the underground pool at Rangko Cave, a last snorkel off Seraya or Sabolo, then disembark back at Labuan Bajo.

Lasha also runs 2D1N and 3D2N versions of this route, and because a private charter is not sharing its schedule, the order and pace can be rebuilt around your group. Destinations may change with weather and sea conditions — the captain’s call always comes first.
