Pricing Terms
- Rates apply to the year in which they are issued and are subject to change annually, due to factors such as fuel costs, additional routes or activities, government regulations, or other conditions beyond our control
- Children aged 3 years and above are charged the full rate
Booking & Payment Schedule
- A 50% down payment secures your booking; full payment is due no later than 30 days before departure
- For bookings made a year in advance: a 30% deposit confirms the charter, a further 20% is due 120 days before the trip, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before departure
- Certain vessels have their own additional terms and conditions that apply
Bank Charges
- All bank charges related to payments are borne by the sender; the amount we receive must exactly match your invoice
- Neither Komodo Luxury nor the tour operator is responsible for additional bank charges incurred during transfers, deposits, or balance payments
Cancellation Policy
- General Terms: Cancellations made at any time before departure—30 days or less, or more—forfeit 100% of the total payment, which is non-refundable
- After Registration: The deposit is forfeited and non-refundable; payments cannot be refunded, rescheduled, or transferred to another trip, though you may nominate a replacement person to take your place
Force Majeure & Delays
- Force Majeure: In cases such as natural disasters, adverse weather, civil unrest, disease outbreaks, government regulations, or flight cancellations, the trip may be changed or canceled without a refund; Komodo Luxury is not responsible for losses or inconvenience caused by such uncontrollable events
- Late Arrival: For private trips, delays affecting the itinerary result in schedule adjustments based on available time—the vessel cannot extend the allocated trip duration
Our Liability
- Komodo Luxury is not liable for changes or cancellations caused by tight travel schedules, or for damage, loss, or delays of baggage by airlines, hotels, or other transportation providers
- We are not liable for damage or loss of participants’ personal belongings during the trip, nor for itinerary changes or reductions due to force majeure
Your Responsibility
- Participants are responsible for loss or damage to trip facilities such as life jackets, snorkels, and masks—damaged or lost items are charged at full replacement value
- All participants must follow the tour leader’s instructions; unilateral decisions that deviate from the agreed itinerary are not permitted without prior approval from boat management
- Illegal drug use or behavior causing disturbance to other participants results in immediate removal from the group, with no refund for any payments made

Frequently Asked Questions About Booking
We recommend booking 3-6 months ahead for peak season (July-September) and 1-3 months for shoulder season. Last-minute dates are sometimes available with limited cabin selection—check our current deals for last-minute discounts.
A 50% down payment secures your booking, with the full balance due no later than 30 days before departure, by bank transfer. If you’re booking a year in advance, a 30% deposit confirms your charter, a further 20% is due 120 days before the trip, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before departure. All bank charges are the sender’s responsibility.
